Affiliate disclosure
How SetupCheck may earn money from links to products in the future, and why that never changes what a test measures or reports.
SetupCheck has no affiliate links today. This page explains what an affiliate link is and how we would handle one if that changes.
Where things stand
None of the links on SetupCheck earns us a commission. The site may show ads from Google AdSense, which are a separate thing: Google places them, they are not affiliate links, and they are not recommendations from us. The privacy policy explains how ads and cookies work.
If we add affiliate links
An affiliate link goes to a store or a manufacturer, and if you buy after clicking it, they may pay us a commission. It should not change the price you pay. If we add any, we will mark them clearly where they appear, and we will update this page with the date.
Test results stay independent
A result comes from your own device and browser. No store, manufacturer or advertiser can change what a test measures, how it scores or what it says, and we will not change a threshold, a verdict or the wording of a result because of a commission. A product link, where we add one, sits apart from the result and never affects it.
