Terms of use
The terms for using SetupCheck: free browser tests, provided as they are, and what you can expect from the results they give you.
These terms apply when you use SetupCheck at setupcheck.app. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
The service
SetupCheck offers free tests that run in your web browser: camera, microphone, keyboard, mouse, gamepad, screen, speakers and headphones, and reaction time. There is no account and nothing to install. This agreement begins when you start using the site and ends when you stop. You can stop using the site at any time. We may add, change or remove tests, or stop the site, at any time.
What you need
A current browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) with JavaScript turned on, and a secure connection. The camera, microphone and gamepad tests also need that device and your permission in the browser. Some tests do not work in every browser or on every device, and the page then says so. Using any website carries general internet risks, such as malicious software and phishing. Keep your browser and system up to date to reduce them.
Results are indicative
A test shows what your browser reports, or what you see and hear, on this device at this moment. Results can differ between browsers, systems and settings. They are not professional measurement, calibration, certification or a diagnosis, and they are not medical advice: the audio tests are not hearing tests. If something matters, for example a warranty claim, check it with proper equipment or the manufacturer.
Use with care
Turn your volume down before an audio test. Loud sound can harm your hearing and your speakers. Some tests show full-screen colors or fast movement, so skip them or stop if that bothers you or you are sensitive to flashing images. You use the tests at your own risk, as far as the law allows.
No warranty
The tests are provided as they are and as available. We do not promise that they are error-free, always available or right for a particular purpose. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by using the site, by relying on a result, or by being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intentional harm, or any right you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Ads and links
The site may show ads from Google AdSense. We do not choose or control individual ads, and an ad is not a recommendation from us. The site may also link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data. How the site handles data is in the privacy policy, and how we may earn from links is in the affiliate disclosure.
Acceptable use
Please do not try to disrupt or overload the site, get into parts of it that are not public, use automated means that put a heavy load on it, use it for anything unlawful, or send us unlawful content. We may block access that does this.
Complaints
If something is wrong with the service, write to hello@setupcheck.app and describe the problem and how to reach you. We reply within 14 days.

Changes, law and language
We may change these terms, for example when we add a tool or a service. The version on the site applies from the date it is published, and using the site after a change means you accept it. The terms are available in English and Polish and are meant to say the same thing. If they differ, the Polish version prevails. Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. This version is dated October 8, 2026.
